This course has been approved by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative for 5 CE hours.
This course has been approved by the Michigan Department of Education for 5 SCECHs.

  This training will cover the High Quality School-Based Evaluation for ASD manual currently in development by the Governor’s Autism Council-Education Subcommittee-Evaluation Team and will outline components of a high quality school-based evaluation for ASD. These components meet best practice standards in the literature and includes collaboration on behalf of evaluators to eliminate redundancy and expedite the evaluation process. The training will detail the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) eligibility criteria, as well as outline processes and tools necessary to ensure a high quality evaluation.
