    START DATE:      2017-2018 School Year


    1. Michigan School Psychologist Certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate
    2. Master’s Degree required
    3. Demonstrated competencies in areas of interpersonal relationships, communication and organization.
    • Participate in local districts efforts to assist all students in making academic progress
    • Use data based decision making to assist in a problem-solving model to deal with student  academic and behavioral needs
    • Collaborate with principals, staff members, and parents/guardians to assist students in making academic progress
    • Reviews, analyzes and revises implementation plans and interventions
    • Recommends or participates in the development of alternative academic and behavior strategies with general education staff, special education staff, and parents
    • Utilizes a variety of assessments to determine the need for special education services
    • Provides analysis and interpretation of information and data in oral and written reports
    • Maintain accurate and timely records
    • Comply with Medicaid billing procedures
    • Comply with district policies and procedures
    • Effectively participate in meetings, committees, staffing and other required district and building activities
    • Other duties as assigned

    REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Ancillary Services

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Master Agreement
