Hello!  My name is Jazzmin Taylor. I am a second-year student in the Ed.S. School Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I will be completing my coursework this upcoming June. I am seeking a full-time internship position for the 2015-2016 school year.

I have a particular interest in working with high school students and diverse populations (e.g. cultural backgrounds, needs). However, I am open to all opportunities. This past February, I presented at the NASP Annual Convention on diversity training in the school communities. This is a personal highlight of my education, which I feel was greatly beneficial to increasing my level of cultural competency. At my current practicum site, I am involved in the completion of initial and triennial evaluations for students. This encompasses completing observations, record reviews, conducting student, parent, and teacher interviews, assessments, report writing, and presenting results at IEP meetings. I also have experience implementing academic and social-emotional interventions, individual student counseling, and conducting FBA/BIPs. Additionally, I created a community resource list of organizations that provide psychiatric services to teens and adolescences for the mental health team at the school. My training at TCS has provided me with a broad skill set, which can be utilized in various settings.

Please feel free to contact me via phone or email with information regarding internship opportunities, or if you would like more information.

    Thank you for your consideration!

    Jazzmin C. Taylor
