On Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, State Rep. Ellen Cogen Lipton (D-Huntington Woods) will present a Resolution denoting Nov. 11th to 15th as Michigan School Psychology Week to the Michigan Association of School Psychologists at its annual Fall Conference. The resolution specifically points to the importance of the prevention and intervention provided by school psychologists as significant in minimizing negative outcomes, including academic failure, dropping out of school, bullying, and school violence.
